CTC Union Launches Layer 3 IEC61850-3 Ethernet Switch - IPR-MG2404XS
Taipei, Taiwan – CTC Union Technologies, a leading designer and manufacturer of telecommunications, data communications and industrial grade networking products, today announced a new Ethernet switch. CTC Union has launched the IPR-MG2404XS specially designed for smart grids and substations.
The IPR-MG2404XS is IEC61850-3 and IEEE1613 certified, ensuring reliable performance in the most demanding industrial environments. It has up to 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports, configurable through four types of Ethernet modules, including Gigabit copper ports, SFP slots and HSR/PRP Redbox modules, compliant with IEC 62439-3 Clause 4 and 5 protocols for seamless redundancy.
In addition, the IPR-MG2404XS is equipped with four 10Gb SFP+ slot ports for uplinks. Redundant power inputs increase system reliability, and its fanless IP30-rated metal enclosure protects against harsh environments. The switch is capable of operating in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C, ensuring uninterrupted operation even in the most challenging conditions.
