CTC Union Launches L2+ Managed 2.5G Ethernet Switch
Taipei, Taiwan – CTC Union Technologies, a leading designer and manufacturer of telecommunications, data communications and industrial grade networking products, today launches new L2+ Managed 2.5G Ethernet Switch – QSW-4624CM and QSW-4416CM.
QSW-4624CM and QSW-4416CM are the next generation Ethernet switches with high-density port configuration by leveraging NBase-T multi-gigabit technology. These two models are designed for enterprises and service providers to take advantage of existing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling infrastructure so as to upgrade network from 1Gbps to 2.5Gbps speed and offer more bandwidth capacity without disruptive and expensive wiring reconstruction.
As the digital transformation of enterprises accelerates, the demand for high-speed networks continues to grow across industries, such as network upgrades in corporate offices or campus academics, WiFi 6E/7 wireless high-speed transmission, or smart surveillance. Therefore, traditional gigabit networks are no longer able to cope with the challenges of high-bandwidth applications. These models are intended to break through the limitations of conventional gigabit networks by providing a more flexible, reliable, and secure network solution while enhancing competitiveness in the high-speed networking market.
High-density port configuration
The QSW-4624CM and QSW-4416CM are equipped 24 or 16 2.5G/1G RJ45 ports and 6 or 4 10G/1G SFP+ uplink ports, meeting different device access needs. Their high-density port design is ideal for enterprises and service providers, enabling extensive device connectivity within limited space and improving overall network performance.NBase-T multi-gigabit technology
Using NBase-T technology, these switches support 2.5Gbps and 1Gbps speed, allowing existing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling infrastructure to be directly upgraded to multi-gigabit speed without expensive and complex cabling reconstruction, reducing upgrade costs.Stable bandwidth and low latency
By providing 10Gbps and 2.5Gbps connectivity, QSW-4624CM and QSW-4416CM ensure low latency and stable network performance even in high-traffic environments. Moreover, they meet the demands of many current high-bandwidth devices and applications, such as 4K UHD video streaming, WiFi 6E/7 wireless access, and IP surveillance.L2+ smart management function
The QSW-4624CM and QSW-4416CM are equipped with L2+ smart management functions, such as VLAN, ACL (Access Control List), and QoS (Quality of Service) functions to ensure network stability and security. These functions help enterprises achieve precise traffic management and security control.Application
