Taipei, Taiwan – CTC Union Technologies, a leading designer and manufacturer of telecommunications, data communications and industrial grade networking products, today announced a new Ethernet switch. CTC Union has introduced its slim size ITP-500A, the industrial unmanaged Ethernet switches with EN 50155 and EN 45545-2 standards for railway-related applications.
The ITP-500A comes with 5x M12 D-Coded 10/100Base-TX, it is designed to operate in extremely harsh environments with IP40 rated metal enclosure for protection against dust. They can operate under a wide temperature range from -40°C to 75°C to ensure constant and robust connections. To meet different requirements of railway applications, the durable ITP-500A supports a wide voltage input range from 12VDC to 48VDC.
Besides, the ITP-500A uses M12 connectors for secure connections, ensuring reliable operation without environmental interference such as vibration and shock. EN50155 certification covers critical regulation of operating temperature, mains input voltage, surge, ESD, vibration and shock, making it suitable for industrial applications such as vehicles, rolling stock and factory automation.
